Measure
Dashboard & conversions
What the Chatisto dashboard measures (volume, response times, handoffs, ratings) and how to track whether chats lead to sales with conversion goals.
Dashboard
Home shows your support at a glance. Pick a period (24 hours, 7 days, 1 month, 1 year or all time); every number is compared with the previous period.
| Metric | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Chats, contacts, messages | Volume. |
| First response time, average response time | How fast customers get an answer. |
| Handoffs, missed handoffs, average handoff wait | How often the AI escalates, and whether your team keeps up. |
| Customer rating (CSAT) | Average 1 to 5 rating and number of ratings. |
| Most active hours | When to have people online. |
| Top operators, messages per operator | Workload across the team. |
Numbers are refreshed every 15 minutes.
Missed handoffs going up? Add business hours, switch to automatic assignment, or increase the wait timeout. See Handoff & availability.
Conversion goals
Conversion goals show whether chatting leads to actions on your website, like reaching checkout.
- In Settings → Client Settings → Tracking Settings, turn on Enable Tracking and Track Page Visits.
- Open Conversions and click Create Goal.
- Enter a Goal Name (e.g. "Reached checkout") and a URL Pattern. Use
*as a wildcard:/checkout/*,/thank-you.
For each goal you'll see goal hits, unique customers and chats, conversion rate and hits over time. You can also open the conversations that led to a goal.
Answer quality
How good the AI's answers are, and what content is missing, is on its own page: see Answer quality.
